Audi Basic Warranty

You are here

The Audi basic, or standard bumper-to-bumper, warranty comes with every new Audi purchased. It includes most components of the vehicle and repairs needed due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Audi basic warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or the day it is first put into use.

What is Covered Under the Audi Basic Warranty?

The Audi basic warranty covers most components of the vehicle except for normal wear and tear items. If repairs are needed due to manufacturer defect or workmanship, the Audi basic warranty will cover the cost. The Audi basic warranty also covers the first scheduled maintenance at 5,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first.

How Long is the Audi Basic Warranty?

The Audi basic warranty applies for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is a fully transferable warranty meaning that it can be transferred from one Audi owner to the next with no work from the previous owner. There is also no limit on how many owners the vehicle can have for the warranty to be valid.

The Audi basic warranty covers what is mentioned above. For a list of what is not covered refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Audi warranty booklet.
