Buick Factory Warranty

Every new Buick comes with a limited factory warranty. It includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and roadside assistance. These Buick warranties cover any repair needed to the vehicle due to manufacturer defect or workmanship and begin the day of delivery to the first owner or the first day of use.

The Buick Factory Warranty includes most components of the new vehicle and applies to 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Buick powertrain warranty covers most components of the engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and drive systems, It is valid for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Buick corrosion warranty covers rust-through on any body panels and sheet metal for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Buick also offers roadside assistance. Buick's services include emergency fuel delivery, lock out service, emergency towing, battery jump start, flat tire change. Along with the roadside assistance, Buick offers courtesy transportation. They will provide transportation while your vehicle is being repair as long as the repair is covered under the Buick factory warranty. Both the Buick roadside assistance and the Buick courtesy transportation apply for 5 years or 100,000 miles whichever comes first.

For models 2005 or older, the Buick factory warranty only applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Buick powertrain warranty for 2006 models is valid for 4 years or 50,000 miles and for models 2005 or older, the powertrain warranty is valid for  3 years or 36,000 miles, which ever comes first.
