Every new Cadillac purchased come with a limited factory warranty. Part of the factory warranty includes a basic warranty, or commonly know as a bumper-to-bumper warranty. The Cadillac basic warranty covers repairs made to the vehicle if the failure is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Cadillac basic warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the date of first use.

What is Covered Under the Cadillac Basic Warranty?

Under the Cadillac basic warranty most components of the vehicle including tires and batteries are covered. Also included in the basic warranty is surface corrosion, alternate transportation and adjustments. If any part covered fails due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship, the Cadillac basic warranty will cover the cost of repairs.

How Long is the Cadillac Basic Warranty?

The Cadillac basic warranty applies for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is transferable from one Cadillac owner to the next with no work needed from the previous owner and there is no limit to how many owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.
