Chrysler Factory Warranty

With every new Chrysler vehicle purchased comes a limited factory warranty. The Chrysler factory warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, and a corrosion warranty.Chrysler does not offer a roadside assistance program, but they do offer emergency towing. The Chrysler factory warranty covers repairs to the vehicle if the failure is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Chrysler factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the day of first use.

The Chrysler basic, or bumper-to-bumper. warranty covers most components to the vehicle. If a repair is needed due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship, the Chrysler basic warranty will cover the cost. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Chrysler powertrain warranty includes the engine, transmission, transaxle, drive systems, and their components. It is valid for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Chrysler corrosion warranty will replace or repair any sheet metal panels if they are damaged from rust through. The inner panels are covered for 3 years and the outer panels are covered for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. While Chrysler does not offer a roadside assistance program they do offer emergency towing if your vehicle breaks down due to any failure that is covered under the factory warranty. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles.

The powertrain warranty differs in 2006 through 2009 models. The powertrain warranty is a lifetime warranty, but applies to the original owner only.
