Every new Daewoo comes with a limited factory warranty. The Daewoo basic warranty, commonly known as a bumper-to-bumper warranty, covers any repairs needed due to manufacturer defects or workmanship. The basic warranty covers most components of a new Daewoo including, accessories. The Daewoo basic warranty starts with the first date of delivery to it's new owner (in-service date) or the date of first use.

What is Covered Under the Daewoo Basic Warranty?

Under the Daewoo basic warranty most components of a new Daewoo, including accessories. The accessories must be purchased from Daewoo.  If any of the components covered fail due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship, then Daewoo will cover the cost of parts and labor.

While most parts are covered, there are restrictions and exclusions. For those parts not covered look in the "What is Not Covered Section" in the Daewoo warranty booklet.

How Long is the Daewoo Basic Warranty?

The Daewoo basic warranty applies for 3 year or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, and begins on the delivery date to the first Daewoo owner or the first date of use. The accessories are covered for 12 months from the orginal date of purchase. This warranty is transferable from one Daewoo owner to the next with very little work needed on the part of the pervious owner. Plus, there is no limit on the number of owners that a particular Daewoo vehicle can have in order for the warranty to remain valid.
