Daewoo Factory Warranty

Every new Daewoo vehicle comes with a limited Daewoo Factory Warranty. The Daewoo Factory Warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, and a corrosion warranty. Unlike some other manufacturers, Daewoo does not offer a roadside assistance program. These Daewoo warranties cover the cost of repairs needed due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Daewoo factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) of the first day of use.

The Daewoo standard bumper-to-bumper warranty covers repairs to most components of the vehicle if they fail die to manufacture defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Daewoo powertrain warranty includes parts of the engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and drive systems and is valid for 5 years or 60,000 miles whichever comes first. The Daewoo corrosion warranty covers the repair of rust through on any body sheet metal panel if the rust is due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. It is valid for 5 years regardless of the mileage.

The Daewoo Factory Warranty covers what is mentioned above. For a complete list of what is not covered refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Daewoo warranty booklet.
