All vehicles come equipped with a standard factory warranty. However, these often are limited by time and mileage. An vehicle protection plan is often times referred to as an extended auto warranty by a consumer, in which affords the consumer the ability to extend coverage past the the original factory warranty of the vehicle. Often times an extended auto warranty can also compliment a factory warranty by providing additional features and benefits like trip interruption and roadside assistance during the original warranty. An extended warranty always has a fee and is never free like a standard factory warranty; however can provided the assurance similar to the car warranty the vehicle had when new.

Cadillac Powertrain Warranty

The Cadillac powertrain warranty is part of the Cadillac limited factory warranty and cover repairs needed to the components of the engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and drive systems if the failure is due to manufacturer error or workmanship. The powertrain warranty begins when the new Cadillac is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) of the first date of use.

Buick Powertrain Warranty

The Buick powertrain limited warranty covers components of the engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and drive systems. The Buick powertrain limited warranty covers repairs needed to the powertrain due to manufacturer defect or workmanship and begins the day of delivery to the first owner (in-service date) or the first day of use and ends with the time and/or mileage limit. There are extedended auto warranties that will extend the powertrain coverage after the Buick owertrain warranty expires.

BMW Roadside Assistance

The BMW roadside assistance comes with the limited factory warranty. The BMW roadside assistance includes services such on-site assistance, lock out, towing, trip interruption and car rental discounts. It begins the day of delivery to the first owner (in-service date) or the day of first use and ends at the year and/or mileage limit.  There are extended auto warranties that can extend roadside assistance coverage after the BMW roadside assistance program has expired.

What is Covered Under the BMW Roadside Assistance?

Acura Roadside Assistance

Under Acura's new car factory limited warranty there is no roadside assistance coverage. If your car is inoperable due to a breakdown caused by a manufacturer defect or workmanship, Acura will pay for the cost of towing the vehicle to the nearest Acura dealership.  If your vehicle needs towing to the nearest Acura dealership, then all that you have to do is call a local towing company and Acura will pay for the cost. Acura does offer a roadside assistance program at an extra cost.

Most auto extended warranties come with roadside assistance included.
