The Hyundai corrosion warranty, or rust perforation limited warranty, includes repairs to any original body panels that are perforated by corrosion, rust completely through from the inside out. This warranty covers any repairs of corrosion due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Hyundai corrosion warranty begins at the first date of delivery (in-service date) or the first date of use.

What Is Covered Under The Hyundai Corrosion Warranty?

The Hyundai Corrosion warranty covers any rust through due to corrosion on any original body panels due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The sheet metal panels must be supplied by Hyundai. Surface corrosion is excluded. The Hyundai corrosion warranty covers what is listed above. How Long is the Hyundai Corrosion Warranty?

The Honda corrosion warranty applies for 7 years regardless of mileage. It begins with the new vehicle limited warranty and starts the first day of ownership or use. The Hyundai corrosion warranty is fully transferable from one Hyundai owner to the next. There is no limit on how many owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.
