You are here

When a new Infiniti vehicle is purchased it comes with a limited factory warranty. Part of the factory warranty includes a basic warranty, or commonly know as a bumper-to-bumper warranty. The Infiniti basic warranty covers repairs made to the vehicle if the failure is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Infiniti basic warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the date of first use.

What is Covered Under the Infiniti Basic Warranty?

Under the Infiniti basic warranty most components of the vehicle are covered if the fail because of a manufacturer defect or workmanship.  Also included in the basic warranty is emergency towing.  If the Infiniti vehicle becomes inoperable due to a part failure that is covered under the Infiniti basic warranty, Infiniti will pay the cost of towing the vehicle to the nearest Infiniti dealership.

The Infiniti basic warranty covers what is listed above. For a complete list of what is not covered refer to the Infiniti warranty booklet.

How Long is the Infiniti Basic Warranty?

The Infiniti basic warranty applies for 4 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is transferable from one Infiniti owner to the next with no work needed from the previous owner and there is no limit to how many owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.
