The Kia corrosion warranty, or anti-perforation limited warranty, includes repairs to any original body panels that are perforated by corrosion, rust completely through from the inside out. This warranty covers any repairs of corrosion due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Kia corrosion warranty begins at the first date of delivery (in-service date) or the first date of use.

What Is Covered Under The Kia Corrosion Warranty?

The Kia Corrosion warranty covers any rust through due to corrosion on any original body panels due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. It is up to Kia to decided whether to replace or repair the body panel.  Replacement body panels are covered for the for the remainder of the corrosion warranty as long as they are installed by a certified Kia service center. How Long is the Kia Corrosion Warranty?

The Kia corrosion warranty applies for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. It begins with the new vehicle limited warranty and starts the first day of ownership or use. The Kia corrosion warranty is fully transferable form one Kia owner to the next. There is also no limit on how many owners the vehicle can have.
