Mazda Factory Warranty

With the purchase of a new Mazda comes a factory limited warranty. The Mazda factory warranty comes with a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and roadside assistance. The Mazda factory warranty covers needed repairs if the failure of the part or parts is due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Mazda factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.

The Mazda basic, or bumper-to-bumper, warranty includes repairs to most components of the vehicle as long as the component fails because of a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Mazda powertrain warranty covers the engine, transmission, drive systems and their components. If a repair is needed to the powertrain and it is caused by a manufacturer defect or workmanship, then the Mazda powertrain warranty will cover the cost. It is valid for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.  The Mazda corrosion warranty includes repairs made to or the replacement of any body sheet metal panel that has rust through. It is valid for 5 years regardless of mileage. The Mazda Roadside assistance program only offers emergency towing if your vehicle is inoperable due to a mechanical break down that is covered under the bumper-to-bumper warranty or the powertrain warranty. Roadside assistance is available for up to 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The Mazda factory warranty cover what is listed above. For a list of what is not covered, refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Mazda warranty booklet.
