Mercedes-Benz Factory Warranty

Mercedes-Benz offers a new vehicle limited warranty with every new vehicle purchased. The Mercedes-Benz factory warranty cover repair cost to most components of the vehicle if they fail due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Mercedes-Benz factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.

The Mercedes-Benz factory warranty is a basic, or standard bumper-to-bumper,  warranty. It includes most components of the vehicle and repairs needed due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 4 years or 50,000, whichever comes first. The powertrain (engine, transmission, transaxle, and drive systems) is covered under the Volvo basic warranty. Corrosion, or rust through on any body sheet metal panel, is covered under the Mercedes-Benz factory warranty as well. Mercedes-Benz also does not offer a roadside assistance program with the factory warranty. you can, however, purchase one through Mercedes-Benz.

If you have a Mercedes-Benz and want extra powertrain coverage or roadside assistance, extended car warranties are available that will offer both services.

The Mercedes-Benz factory warranty covers what is listed above. For a complete list of what is not covered, refer to the Mercedes-Benz warranty booklet.
