Mercury Factory Warranty

Every new Mercury vehicle that is purchased comes with a limited factory warranty. The Mercury factory warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and roadside assistance. The Mercury factory warranty covers repairs needed if the part or parts fail due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Mercury factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first day of use.

The Mercury basic, or bumper-to-bumper, warranty covers the cost of repairs to most of the components of the vehicle if they fail due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Mercury powertrain warranty includes the engine, transmission, transaxle, drive systems, and most of their components if a repair is needed due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It is valid for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Mercury corrosion warranty will either repair or replace any body sheet metal panel that has signs of rust through for 5 years, regardless of the mileage. The Mercury roadside assistance program offers benefits such as emergency towing, fuel delivery, battery jump start, flat tire change, lock out, and winching. Roadside assistance benefits are available for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The Mercury factory warranty covers what is listed above. For a list of what is not covered refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Mercury warranty booklet.
