Nissan Factory Warranty

With every new Nissan vehicle purchased comes a limited factory warranty. The Nissan factory warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and roadside assistance. The Nissan factory warranty covers repairs needed to most components of the vehicle if the part or parts fail due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Nissan factory warranty begins the first day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first day of use.

The Nissan basic, or bumper-to-bumper warranty covers most components of the vehicle and repair cost to those components if the failure is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Nissan powertrain warranty includes the engine, transmission, transaxle, drive systems, restraint systems, and their components. It is valid forĀ 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Nissan corrosion warranty covers the cost of repair or replacement of any body sheet metal panel that has rust through due to normal use of the vehicle and it last for 5 years with no limit on mileage. The Nissan roadside assistance program only offers emergency towing to the nearest Nissan service center and is applicable for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The Nissan factory warranty covers what is listed above. For a list of what is not covered, refer to the Nissan warranty booklet.
