Oldsmobile Factory Warranty

When a new Oldsmobile vehicle is purchased, it automatically comes with a limited factory warranty. The Oldsmobile factory warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty,, a corrosion warranty, and roadside assistance. Oldsmobile does not offer a separate powertrain warranty. The Oldsmobile factory warranty covers the vehicle if a part or parts fail due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Oldsmobile factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the day of first use.

The Oldsmobile basic, or bumper-to-bumper, warranty covers any part of the vehicle if it fails due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Oldsmobile corrosion warranty  repairs or replaces any body sheet metal panel if there is rust through caused by normal use of the vehicle. It applies for 6 years or 100,000 miles. The Oldsmobile roadside assistance program encompasses services such as trip interruption, emergency towing, lock out, fuel delivery, flat tire change, battery jump start, and courtesy transportation.  Roadside assistance benefits are available for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. While Oldsmobile does not offer separate powertrain warranty, all of the powertrain components are covered under the basic warranty.

The Oldsmobile factory warranty covers what is listed above. For a list of what is not covered refer to the Oldsmobile warranty booklet.
