Plymouth Basic Warranty

You are here

When a new Plymouth vehicle is purchased, it comes with a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty. The Plymouth basic, or bumper-to-bumper, warranty covers repairs to most components to the vehicle if the repair needed is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Plymouth basic warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or the first date of use.

What is Covered Under the Plymouth Basic Warranty?

Under the Plymouth basic warranty, most components of the vehicle, except for normal wear and tear items, are covered if the part or parts fail due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Plymouth basic warranty covers what is listed above. For a complete list of what is not covered refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Plymouth warranty booklet.

How Long is the Plymouth Basic Warranty?

The Plymouth basic warranty applies for 3 years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. It begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or the day of first use. The Plymouth basic warranty is transferrable from one Plymouth owner to the next automatically. There is no limit to how many owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.

*The Plymouth Basic Warranty information was obtained from the 2001 Plymouth Warranty Booklet. For the latest information please advise your warranty booklet.
