You are here

The Pontiac corrosion warranty protects against any rust-through, or perforation,  on the vehicle body. It will cover the cost of repairs to rust-through that are caused by manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Pontiac corrosion warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to it's firs owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.

What Does the Pontiac Corrosion Warranty Cover?

Under the Pontiac corrosion warranty, any repairs to rust though on the body of the vehicle are covered if the rust is due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Pontiac corrosion warranty covers what is listed above. For what is not covered please refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the warranty booklet.

How Long is the Pontiac Corrosion Warranty?

The Pontiac corrosion warranty covers corrosion 6 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.  This warranty automatically transfers from on Pontiac owner to the next. Also, the Pontiac corrosion warranty has no limits on the number of owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.
