This is a transferable warranty. It transfers from one Pontiac owner to the next without any work form the previous owner needed and there is not a limit to how many owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.

2001 thru 2006 Satrun models have a powertrain warranty that is valid for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Extended auto warrantys are available that will extend the powertrain coverage after the Pontiac powertrain warranty has expired.
