The Pontiac roadside assistance program comes with the new vehicle limited warranty. It offers services such as emergency towing, battery jump start, fuel delivery services, lock out service and flat tire change. The Pontiac roadside assistance begins at the date of delivery to the first owner (in-service date) or the date of first use.

What is Covered Under the Pontiac Roadside Assistance?

Pontiac roadside assistance offers the following services: Emergency Towing: If the vehicle becomes inoperable due to a mechanical breakdown, Pontiac will provide towing to the nearest GM dealership. Battery jump start: If your battery needs a jump, Pontiac will send a service operator out to jump start the battery. Fuel Delivery Service: If you run out of fuel, Pontiac will deliver a supply of fuel, enough to get to the nearest service station. Lock Out Service: If you are locked out of your vehicle, Pontiac will help to get you back into your vehicle. A remote unlock may be available if the vehicle is equipped with On-Star. Flat Tire Change: If you get a flat tire, a service operator will be dispatched to attempt to change the flat tire for a spare.

How Long is the Pontiac Roadside Assistance?

The Pontiac Roadside Assistance applies for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.  It begins on the day of delivery to the first owner or the day of first use. It is not transferable from one owner to the next. Normally, an auto extended warranty will include a roadside assistance program that will over benefits beyond the end date of the Pontiac roadside assistance program.

How to Contact the Pontiac Factory Roadside Assistance

If the vehicle is equipped with On Star, then to receive roadside assistance service, just press the blue On Star button. If the vehicle is not equipped with On Star, the just call 1-800-762-2737 and a Pontiac roadside assistance service representative will help you with your needs.
