The Suzuki Powertrain Warranty includes those components that fall within the realm of the new car limited warranty. This warranty covers any repairs made due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. The powertrain warranty includes components of the engine, transmission, transaxle, and drive systems. The Suzuki powertrain warranty begins at the first date of delivery to the new owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.

What is Covered under the Suzuki  Powertrain Warranty?

Under the Suzuki Powertrain Warranty, the engine, transmission, transaxle, drive systems, and their components are covered if they fail due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Suzuki powertrain warranty covers the components listed above. For a complete list of what is not covered under the powertrain warranty, look under the "What is Not Covered Section" of the Suzuki warranty booklet.

How Long is the Suzuki Powertrain Warranty?

The Suzuki powertrain warranty is an extension of the new vehicle limited warranty. It applies for 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Suzuki powertrain warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or the first day of use.  The warranty is fully transferable from one Suzuki owner to the next with very little work needed on the part of the previous owner. Also, there is no limit on the number of owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.

There are extended auto warranties available that will extend the coverage beyond the Suzuki factory warranty coverage.
