Toyota Factory Warranty

Every new Toyota vehicle comes with a new vehicle limited warranty. The Toyota factory warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, and a corrosion warranty. Toyota does not offer a typical roadside assistance program, but they do offer courtesy transportation. The Toyota factory warranty covers needed repairs to most components of the vehicle if they fail due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the day of first use.

The Toyota basic, or bumper-to-bumper, warranty will cover the cost of repairs to the vehicle if the part or parts failed due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Toyota powertrain warranty includes repairs needed to the engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case, drive systems, and their components. It is valid for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Toyota corrosion warranty will replace or repair any body sheet metal panels that have signs of rust through for 5 years with no limit on mileage. While Toyota does not offer a full service roadside assistance program, they do offer transportation assistance if your vehicle must be kept overnight for repairs. It is available for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The Toyota factory warranty covers what is listed above. For a list of what is not covered please refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of your Toyota warranty booklet.
