Volkswagen Certified Warranty

When a consumer purchases a certified pre-owned Volkswagen, it comes with a certified pre-owned (CPO) limited warranty. The Volkswagen certified warranty extends coverage to certain components of the vehicle. It also includes roadside assistance benefits and begins either the day the Volkswagen new car factory warranty expires or from the first day of delivery.

The Volkswagen Certified warranty is an extension of the new vehicle limited factory warranty. Most components that are covered under the factory warranty will be covered under the certified warranty. Volkswagen will cover the cost of parts and labor if a mechanical breakdown occurs due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Volkswagen certified warranty applies for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. The roadside assistance benefits apply for 2 years regardless of mileage. There is no deductible for repairs and the warranty is fully transferable from one Volkswagen owner to the next.
