When a consumer purchases an certified pre-owned BMW, it comes with a certified warranty. The BMW certified warranty extends portions of the limited factory warranty and includes roadside assistance. It begins the day that the factory warranty expires.
The BMW certified warranty includes certain components of the engine, transmission, final-drive assembly, hydraulic brake parts, air conditioning and heating systems, cooling system, fuel system, steering, and anti-lock braking system. It will cover the cost of repairs if the failure is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The BMW certified warranty is valid for 2 years or 50,000 thousand miles, whichever comes first, after the limited factory warranty has expired. The roadside assistance portion of the BMW certified warranty includes benefits such as flat tire change, jump assistance, lock-out service and towing service. It applies for 2 years regardless of mileage.
