Tail Light Bulb Replacement

You are here

When performing a tail light bulb replacement, it is important to use a headlight bulb that meets the vehicle manufacturer's specifications. If an incorrect style or type of bulb is used, it may cause damage to the wiring or lamp housing.

In some vehicles, the lamp assembly or some trim panels may have to be removed in order to gain access to the broken bulb.

While most manufacturer factory warranties and extended auto warranties do not cover the cost of a tail light bulb replacement. There are maintenance plans available that will cover the cost of inspecting the tail lights to make sure they are working properly.
