Saab offers a new vehicle limited factory warranty with every new vehicle factory purchased. The factory warranty comes with the Saab standard bumper-to-bumper, or basic, warranty. The Saab basic warranty covers repairs to most components to the vehicle if the repair needed is due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Saab basic warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.
What is Covered Under the Saab Basic Warranty?
Under the Saab basic warranty, most components of the vehicle are covered if the failure is caused by a manufacturer defect or workmanship. They also offer no-charge scheduled maintenance and courtesy transportation if your vehilce is being repaired under warranty.

How Long is the Saab Basic Warranty?
The Saab basic warranty, including courtesy transportation, applies for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The no-charge scheduled maintenance is valid for 3 years or 36,000 miles. It begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or the day of first use. The Saab basic warranty is transferrable from one Saab owner to the next automatically. There is no limit to how many owners the vehicle can have in order for the warranty to be valid.
