With every certified pre-owned Ford comes a certified warranty. The Ford certified warranty includes an extension of the new vehicle limited warranty and the powertrain warranty, It also comes with roadside assistance and a car rental allowance. The Ford certified warranty begins the day the certified pre-owned vehicle is purchased. 

The comprehensive portion of the Ford certified warranty is essentially an extension of the limited factory warranty. It covers most components of the vehicle and will pay for the cost of repairs if a mechanical breakdown occurs due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first and begins the day the certified pre-owned Ford is purchased. The certified powertrain warranty covers components of the 

  • engine
  • transmission
  • front-wheel drive
  • rear-wheel drive

It applies for 6 years or 100,00 miles, whichever comes first and begins the day the certified pre-owned vehicle is purchased. For vehicle models 2007 and older, the certified powertrain warranty is valid foe 6 years or 75,000 miles. There is no deductible and is fully transferable form one Ford owner to the next. The Ford certified warranty also comes with roadside assistance. Benefits of the roadside assistance include

  • fuel delivery service
  • trip expense reimbursement
  • towing
  • battery jump start
  • rental car allowance, and
  • battery jump start

The roadside assistance program is valid for 6 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
