Nissan Certified Warranty

You are here

When a consumer purchases a certified pre-owned Nissan, it comes with a certified pre-owned (CPO) limited warranty. The Nissan certified warranty extends coverage to certain components of the powertrain portion of the  vehicle and includes roadside assistance. It begins on the first in service date.

The Nissan Certified warranty is an extension of Nissan powertrain warranty. Most components of the engine, turbocharger, transmission, and body electrical are covered. Nissan will cover the cost of parts and labor if a mechanical breakdown occurs due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Nissan certified warranty extends the factory warranty for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.  There is a $50 deductible for repairs and the warranty is fully transferable from one Nissan owner to the next.

For a list of items that are not covered by the Nissan certified warranty please refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Nissan Certified Warranties booklet.

The roadside assistance portion of the warranty includes benefits such as

  • lock-out assistance
  • flat-tire change
  • emergency jump-start
  • towing assistance, and
  • trip-interruption service

The roadside assistance is valid for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
