Battery Warranty

You are here

The original equipment battery of a vehicle is normally covered under the standard warranty of the vehicle when it is new. Typically the battery warranty will cover the service of the battery equivalent to the standard warranty, however limit the replacement of the original equipment to the first 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Some manufacturers will pay for the parts and labor of the battery replacement under the warranty for the entire car warranty term. Please read the terms and conditions of the battery warranty in your owners manual or warranty booklet.

Suzuki Basic Warranty

Every new Suzuki comes with a limited factory warranty. The Suzuki basic warranty, commonly known as a bumper-to-bumper warranty, covers any repairs needed due to manufacturer defects or workmanship. The basic warranty covers most components of a new Suzuki including the battery and accessories. The Suzuki basic warranty starts with the first date of delivery to it's new owner (in-service date) or the date of first use.
