Hummer Factory Warranty

When a new Hummer vehicle is purchased, it comes with a limited factory warranty. The Hummer factory warranty includes a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a limited powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and a roadside assistance program. The Hummer warranties cover repairs needed due to manufacturer defect or workmanship and begin the first day it is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.

The bumper-to-bumper warranty portion of the Hummer factory warranty covers repairs needed to most components of the vehicle if the failure was caused by manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Hummer powertrain warranty includes repairs to the engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case, and drive systems. It is valid for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Hummer corrosion warranty warrants against rust through on any body sheet metal panel due to manufacturer defect or workmanship and is valid for 6 years regardless of mileage. The Hummer roadside assistance program encompasses services such as flat tire change, lock out, fuel delivery service, jump start, and emergency towing. A Hummer owner has roadside assistance for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The Hummer factory warranty includes what is mentioned above. For what the factory warranty does not cover please refer to the "What is Not Covered " Section of the Hummer Warranty booklet.
