Limited Warranty

You are here

A limited warranty is often used by a automotive manufacturer to provide a warranty on certain components of a vehicle providing sometimes only a warranty on the parts and not the labor of the failed component. Limiting the warranty imposes certain restrictions to what is covered upon mechanical breakdown of the vehicle. A full warranty is the exact opposite of a limited warranty, providing a comprehensive warranty on the breakdown of all vehicle components.

The powertrain and its components are covered for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first and begins the date the vehicle is delivered to first owner (in-service date) or the date of first use.
