Hyundai Factory Warranty

Every new Hyundai vehicle comes with a limited factory warranty. The Hyundai factory warranty includes a basic, or standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and roadside assistance. The Hyundai factory warranty cover repairs needed due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. It begins the day of delivery to the first owner (in-service date) or the first date of use.

The Hyundai Factory Warranty comes with a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty which covers repairs to most components of the vehicle if the failure was caused by a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Some components such as audio, radio , and paint are covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. The Hyundai powertrain warranty covers select engine, transmission, transaxle, and drive system components. It is valid for 10 years or 100,000 miles and applies to the original owner only. The Hyundai corrosion warranty encompasses perforation, or rust through, on any original Hyundai body sheet metal if the perforation is due to manufacturer defect or workmanship. Perforation is covered for 7 years regardless of the mileage. The Hyundai roadside assistance program includes services such as trip interruption, battery jump start, lock out, towing, fuel delivery, and flat tire change. The Hyundai roadside assistance is available for 5 years and unlimited miles.

The Hyundai factory warranty covers what is listed above. For a complete list of what is not covered please refer to the "What is Not Covered" section of the Hyundai Warranty booklet.
