Scion Factory Warranty

With every new Scion vehicle purchased comes a limited factory warranty. The Scion factory warranty comes with a standard bumper-to-bumper warranty, a powertrain warranty, a corrosion warranty, and a limited roadside assistance program. The Scion factory warranty will cover most repairs needed if the part failed due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. The Scion factory warranty begins the day the vehicle is delivered to the first owner (in-service date) or the first day of use.

The Scion basic, or bumper-to-bumper, warranty will cover the cost of most repairs to the vehicle of the part or parts failed due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. It applies for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Scion powertrain warranty includes the engine, transmission, transaxle, drive systems, restraint systems, and their components. It is valid for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Scion corrosion warranty will repair or replace any original body panel that has rust through for 5 years regardless of mileage. The Scion roadside assistance program, aka Scion Service Boost,  is offered to 2009 and 2010 models purchased on or after June, 2 2010 and 20011 models purchased on or after October, 1 2010, The Scion Service Boost includes benefits such as flat tire change, fluid delivery, battery jump start, lock out service, and emergency towing. Roadside assistance benefits are available for 2 years.
